Adam Behlman

President, Real Estate Investing & Servicing, Starwood Mortgage Capital & Starwood Property Trust, Inc.

Real Estate Investing and Servicing

Adam Behlman is President of Starwood Property Trust’s Real Estate Investing & Servicing segment as well as President of Starwood Mortgage Capital. In this role, Mr. Behlman is responsible for overseeing Starwood Property Trust’s commercial mortgage-backed securities, its conduit lending and subsequent securitization activities and its real estate investment platform, as well as leading the company’s wholly owned special servicer, LNR Partners. He previously served as Head of Capital Markets and Chief Risk Officer for LNR.

Prior to joining LNR in 2011, Mr. Behlman served as Head of the Real Estate Finance and CMBS division of UBS. In this role, he was responsible for managing and trading UBS’ legacy CMBS and commercial real estate loan book, while also helping return UBS to the origination, trading and underwriting business. Mr. Behlman previously held a variety of capital markets and real estate roles with firms including Deutsche Bank, Prudential Securities and Deloitte.

After serving on the Board for the past 5 years, Adam was the President and Chairman of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) during the 2020-2021 board of directors term, which is the leading trade organization for the commercial real estate finance industry, with over 11,000 members. He is currently serving as the Past Chairman and chairs the compensation and nomination committee’s as well as co-chairs the DEI HBCU and Education sub-committee

Mr. Behlman holds a B.A. degree from Queens College, CUNY, in both accounting and information systems and economics.

Job Warshaw

Managing Director & Head of Special Servicing, LNR Partners, LLC

Job Warshaw is the Managing Director and Head of Special Servicing at LNR Partners. In this role, he is responsible for all CMBS special servicing activities, including loan asset management, workouts, lender consents, REO asset management, dispositions and surveillance, as well as due diligence support for LNR’s investment activities.

Mr. Warshaw joined LNR at its inception in 1992 as an original member of the loan asset management group, later becoming a Regional Team Leader, and subsequently Director of Loan Asset Management, with direct responsibility for LNR’s 75-memberworkout team. He has played a key role in all aspects of the formation and growth of the LNR Partners servicing platform and workout culture, including participation in staffing, training and development of internal systems, policies and procedures.

Before LNR, Mr. Warshaw held positions in commercial banking, including management of commercial loan workouts at a major South Florida thrift under RTC receivership whose non-performing assets were ultimately acquired by LNR in a $1 billion bulk transaction.

Mr. Warshaw holds a BBA degree, with a concentration in finance, from Emory University.

Natan Bresler

Managing Director & Head of Capital Markets, Chief Investment Officer Public Securities, Real Estate Investing & Servicing Division of Starwood Property Trust, Inc.

Natan Bresler is a Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets and Trading, and Chief Investment Officer of Public Securities for REIS. In this role, Mr. Bresler’s responsibilities include oversight of REIS’s securities investment portfolio, analyzing all major REIS public side business and trading opportunities, examining and cultivating market relationships with both buy and sell side participants as well as generating and executing trade and partnership ideas. He also oversees capital markets activities for REIS and SMC including interest rate and credit risk hedging, new structured product development, as well as managing CMBS securities-related financing lines. Mr. Bresler is also responsible for oversight of Starwood’s research portal and is heavily involved in analyzing regulatory and macroeconomic developments.

Mr. Bresler previously performed all sourcing, analyzing, negotiating, trading and hedging of secondary CMBS opportunities for LNR Securities and Archetype Debt Fund and maintained oversight of LNR’s proprietary trading operations in both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to 2008, Mr. Bresler was the head of analytics for all of LNR’s investment opportunities, new business lines and fund raising. Before joining LNR in October 2002, Mr. Bresler worked in Carnival Corp.’s strategic planning unit, where his responsibilities included evaluating various economic and real estate opportunities (including port, retail and office space developments).

Mr. Bresler holds a B.S. degree in finance and an MBA, with a concentration in finance, from Florida International University. He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since2003 and is an active member of the CFA Miami Society.

Jason Nick

Chief Investment Officer for REIS, Real Estate Investment & Servicing Division of Starwood Property Trust, Inc.

Jason Nick is the Chief Investment Officer, Private Securities for REIS. In this position, Mr. Nick is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of new-issue CMBS B-pieces. As part of his role, he develops and maintains relationships with conduit loan sellers and financial partners and provides credit oversight for all real estate related investments for public and private debt acquisitions. Additionally, he is responsible for managing the due diligence process for all new CMBS B-piece acquisitions including the utilization of REISD’s approximately 245 professionals nationally. Mr. Nick previously held various roles within REISD including providing credit oversight for various private and public real estate debt investments and was directly involved with the workouts and resolution of over $15 billion of non-performing loans and REO. Over the years Mr. Nick has developed extensive real estate relationships with both third-party service providers and real estate equity investors which are consistently utilized in underwriting loan pools.

Prior to joining LNR Partners, Mr. Nick worked in Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking division and focused on corporate finance transactions related to Gaming, Lodging and Leisure as well as acquisition of non-performing real estate loan portfolios in Asia and Latin America. Mr. Nick received a B.S. degree with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.

Alexis Gallardo

Managing Director of Capital Markets & Head of Analytics, Real Estate Investment & Servicing of Starwood Property Trust, Inc.

Alexis Gallardo is Managing Director of Capital Markets and Head of Analytics for REIS. In this role, Mr. Gallardo manages the capital markets function for the division, with a focus on Starwood’s new issue CMBS B-piece investments and Starwood Mortgage Capital’s loan origination platform. His responsibilities include overseeing the valuation and securitization of CRE loans, structuring CMBS securitizations, advising on new issue B-Piece investment opportunities, and managing interest rate and derivative hedging activities across those platforms. In addition to these functions, Mr. Gallardo also oversees the valuation of REIS’ CMBS and special servicing investment portfolios.

Mr. Gallardo joined LNR in 2005. Prior to taking on the role as Head of Analytics in 2012, he spent time in several reporting and analytical roles across several departments. His previous duties have included analyzing LNR’s special servicing fee income, valuing and underwriting LNR’s CMBS and CDO portfolios, and assisting in managing the investments of LNR’s CMBS fund and related holdings.

Mr. Gallardo received a B.A. degree in finance and business management from Florida International University.

Jason L. Jones

Chief Investment Officer, Real Estate Investing Division

Jason Jones holds the role of Chief Investment Officer for REIS–Real Estate Investing Division. He has been with the firm since January of 2010. During his time at the company, he has worked across multiple business segments, active in asset management, debt underwriting and equity investment. In his current role, he is responsible for overall portfolio management and he leads the team in the acquisition, underwriting, leasing, construction and ultimate disposition of acquired real estate assets. Jason has been a part of the Equity Investment group since its inception in 2014 and previously held the role of Director of Asset Management for the business unit.

Prior to Equity Investments, Jason was in the LNR REO group where he was an asset manager for the Mid-west territory and co-leader for the non-transfer request process. Before his time at Starwood, Jason came from a development background where his efforts included site selection, entitlement and construction for infill residential/marina projects.

Jason holds a B.A. in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University and an M.B.A in Real Estate from Nova Southeastern University. He is an active member in CREFC and currently serves as a Mentor in their Mentorship program.

Adrienne M. Coyle

Director of Business Development for REIS

Adrienne M. Coyle is the Director of Business Development for REIS. In this role she is responsible for the growth of our third party relationships offering our advisory and asset management services to help institutions manage and optimized their portfolios.

Prior to joining Starwood Property Trust, Adrienne was Director of Financing Solutions for the Private Institutional Client desk at Alex. Brown where she established a third party lending program for a variety of institutional clients. In this experience, Adrienne was able to implement a number of the skills she developed during her time at Deutsche Bank in the Structured Solutions Group where she originated opportunities for the Global Credit and Financing Solutions business from a range of private equity and credit funds.

Adrienne started her finance career at the Mortgage Bankers Association then transitioned to Wall Street at Lehman Brothers where she was a part of the Securitized Product Sales team focused on Mortgage Backed Securities. Adrienne received her BA from Georgetown University and MBA from the University Of Notre Dame.

She is an active member of the Garden Conservancy and enjoys spending time in Martha’s Vineyard and Saratoga Springs during the summer. Fun Fact–Adrienne was born on 11/11 at 11:06 am so it is no surprise her favorite number is 11!
